Store Policies
To ensure your embroidered product receives the care and attention it deserves, we’ve put together a set of shop policies to help guide your experience with us. Please take a moment to review them below, and note that policies may be updated from time to time.
Payment Policy
Due to the custom nature of each service and time spent designing/embroidering, payment is due at the time the order is placed.
The Petite Petal proudly accepts Shopify approved payments, including ShopPay, PayPal, Apple Pay, VISA and Mastercard.
Gift cards are available for purchase here.
Turnaround Time Policy
This Turnaround Time Policy governs production timelines for all orders placed with Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier.
Standard Production Time
Petite Petal Emboridery Atelier's standard turnaround timeframe is permanently displayed in the announcement bar at the top of our website. The turnaround time begins after all order details have been fully finalized and any required deposits, payments, or confirmations have been completed
Business days are defined as Monday through Friday and exclude weekends and recognized holidays.
Peak Periods and High Volume
Production timelines may be extended during peak seasons, holidays, promotional events, or periods of increased order volume. Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier reserves the right to adjust turnaround estimates accordingly.
Bulk and Specialty Orders
Large, bulk, event-based, or specialty orders may require additional production time beyond the standard timeframe. Estimated completion dates for such orders will be provided at the time of order confirmation and are considered good-faith estimates only. Customer's are responsible for contacting Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier before placing bulk and specialty orders to ensure their order can be completed within the customer's desired timeframe.
Rush Orders
Expedited or rush production is available at the sole discretion of Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier and is subject to additional fees based on the number of items ordered and design complexity. Approval of all rush orders must be confirmed through email before the order is placed.
Turnaround time for all rush orders will not start until the order payment and assigned rush order fee is paid in full.
Delays and Force Majeure
Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier shall not be liable for delays resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier shortages, shipping carrier delays, equipment malfunction, acts of God, labor shortages, natural disasters, or customer-caused delays (including late approvals or incomplete information).
Estimated Completion Dates
All turnaround times and completion dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed to in writing. Production timelines do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or chargeback unless otherwise required by law.
Completion Notification
Customers will be notified through the customer provided email upon order completion.
Design Preview & Approval Policy
For select custom orders, Petite Petal may provide a digital design proof or preview prior to production.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all design details, including spelling, names, monograms, dates, thread colors, layout, embroidery placement, and any other customization elements before granting approval.
Approval of a design proof constitutes final confirmation that all details are accurate and authorized for production. Once approval has been received and production has begun, changes, corrections, or cancellations may not be possible.
Because each piece is handcrafted, slight variations in thread color, fabric texture, scale, and embroidery placement may occur. These minor differences are considered a natural characteristic of custom craftsmanship and do not constitute defects.
To maintain production schedules and estimated turnaround times, design approvals should be submitted promptly. Delays in approval may result in corresponding delays to the completion and delivery of your order.
Unless otherwise specified, one complimentary proof revision is included with eligible orders. Additional revisions, redesigns, or substantial changes requested after the initial proof may incur additional design fees.
Shipping Policy
The Petite Petal offers nationwide shipping through the United States Postal Service and UPS.
All shipped orders include a tracking number that is emailed to the customer upon order completion.
Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier makes every effort to ensure our packages arrive prior to their estimated date. We understand how important the milestones are that we are creating pieces for and make every effort to ensure it arrives on time. Due to the nature of the postal system, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date. If the estimated arrival date changes after it is handed over to the carrier system, that is unfortunately out of our control.
Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier is not responsible for extenuating circumstances once the package leaves our office.
The Petite Petal is not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipping. Each item is carefully inspected and thoughtfully packaged with intention before it leaves our hands. Once your order is on its way, any damage that occurs in transit is unfortunately beyond our control.
Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier is not responsible for contacting the carrier service for delayed, lost, or stolen packages. Contacting and filing a claim is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Photography & Marketing
One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is seeing our pieces become part of meaningful moments and beautiful spaces.
Unless otherwise requested in writing, Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier reserves the right to photograph completed projects and commissioned pieces and to use those images for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website content, portfolio displays, advertising, educational materials, and future publications.
We are committed to respecting our clients’ privacy and will never intentionally disclose sensitive personal information. If you prefer that your project remain private and not be photographed or featured in any marketing materials, please notify us prior to production, and we will be happy to honor your request.
Atelier Availability and Order Acceptance
Petite Petal Emboridery Atelier occasionally limits or pauses new orders to ensure every project receives the time, craftsmanship, and attention it deserves.
Product availability, collection offerings, ordering windows, production schedules, and estimated turnaround times are subject to change without notice based on current demand and atelier capacity.
Any temporary closure of our atelier, website or ordering platform applies only to new orders and does not affect previously confirmed projects. Existing clients will continue to receive updates, communication, and support throughout the completion of their order.
Petite Petal reserves the right to decline or cancel an order prior to production if the requested project cannot be accommodated within our current turnaround time, scope, or capacity. Should this occur, any payments made toward the order will be refunded in full.
Bespoke Gift Registry Policy
Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier Bespoke Baby & Bridal Registry Program
Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier is honored to be part of your most cherished celebrations through our thoughtfully curated Bridal and Baby Registry offerings. Each registry is designed to help family and friends gift meaningful, heirloom-quality pieces that will be cherished for years to come.
Registry inquiries are reviewed individually and accepted based on current atelier availability and production capacity. Submission of a registry request does not guarantee acceptance or the establishment of a registry.
Because many registry pieces are handcrafted to order, availability of specific products, fabrics, trims, colors, and design options may evolve throughout the registry period. We reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions or modifications when necessary while maintaining the quality and character of the registry style and collection.
To ensure every piece is completed to our standards, certain registry selections may require monogram details, design preferences, or other personalization information from the registrant before production can begin. Delays in receiving required information may affect production timelines.
As a small atelier, Petite Petal reserves the right to limit, modify, or temporarily pause registry offerings during periods of high demand or limited availability.
Registries will remain active and available for purchases for one month following the due date month.
Due to the custom and personalized nature of registry items, all registry purchases are subject to our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy.
Monogram & Personalization Policy
Monograms are a cherished tradition, and we encourage all customers to review our Monogram Etiquette Guide before placing an order to ensure their personalization is formatted exactly as desired.
Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate names, initials, dates, and other personalization details. Petite Petal cannot be held responsible for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information submitted during the ordering process.
Traditional, modern, stacked, couples’, and specialty monogram styles each follow distinct formatting conventions. Unless otherwise specified, all monograms will be created according to the selected monogram style and industry-standard formatting practices.
At Petite Petal Embroidery Atelier, we strive to produce high-quality custom embroidered and personalized items based on the selections provided by our customers. Please note that customers are solely responsible for the thread colors, fonts, monogram styles, and design options they choose at the time of order. While we are happy to provide guidance or suggestions upon request, the final selection and approval remain the responsibility of the customer. Due to variations in screen displays, lighting, fabric texture, and thread materials, the finished product may vary slightly from digital previews or expectations. We are not responsible for dissatisfaction resulting from customer-selected thread colors, font styles, monogram arrangements, or design choices. Once the order proof has been approved and production has begun, changes cannot be made. Refunds, exchanges, or remakes will not be provided based on personal preference regarding chosen colors, fonts, or monogram styles. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this policy.
By approving a design proof or preview, customers confirm that all personalization details, spelling, initials, dates, layout, and formatting are accurate and authorize Petite Petal to proceed with production as approved.
